PROCLAMATION NO. 1784

RESERVING FOR AIRPORT SITE PURPOSES CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN BARANGAY BANCAO-BANCAO, CITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, ISLAND OF PALAWAN, AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES – DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION (DOTC)

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ‑ ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement or disposition and reserve for airport site purposes certain parcels of land of the public domain, situated in Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City, Province of Palawan and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines-Department of Transportation and Communication (RP-DOTC), containing an aggregate area of NINETEEN THOUSAND TWENTY FIVE (19,025) SQUARE METERS, more or less, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcels of land are more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot as shown on the plan Sgs-04-002002-D being a portion of Lot 2832 (port.) Cad 800-D Puerto Princesa Cadastre; L.R.C. Record No. ), situated in Brgy. of Canigaran (Now: San Miguel); Municipality of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan. Bounded on the N., along line 1-2 by Lot No. 2834 (HV-55646) claimed by Macaria Bagona; on the SE., along lines 2-3-4 by Lot 2832 (port.) (H-74940-A) property of E. Dagomboy; on the SW., along line 4-5 by Lot No. 2832 (port.) property of David Castro; on the NW., along line 5-6 by Lot 2832 (port.) property of Malecio Pacaldo; along line 6-1 by Lot 2832 (port.) The tract or tracts of land herein shall be non-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease or other mode of disposition until again declared as alienable by proclamation of the President.

The Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines – Department of Transportation and Communications.
