PROCLAMATION NO. 1866

DECLARING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS

WHEREAS, Saturday, September 5, 2008, marks the 41st Charter Day anniversary and Tuna Festival celebration of the City of General Santos;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of General Santos the opportunity to participate in the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare September 5, 2009 as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, September 5, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Nine.
