PROCLAMATION NO. 1889

RESERVING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN FOR OFFICE SITE PURPOSES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS (DPWH) — SAMAR FIRST DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE SITUATED IN BARANGAY SAN POLICARPIO, CITY OF CALBAYOG, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, ISLAND OF SAMAR.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby reserve a certain parcel of land of the public domain for office site purposes of the Department of Public Works and Highways- Samar First District Engineering Office situated in Barangay San Policarpio, City of Calbayog, Province of Samar, Island of Samar, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

Lot No. 5268-B, Csd-08-008245-D

A PARCEL OF LAND designated as Lot No. 5268-B, Csc-08-008245-D situated at Barangay San Policarpio, City of Calbayog, Province of Samar. Bounded on the NE. by Lot No. 5268-A of the subdivision Plan; on the E. by Lot No. 5265, Cad-422, in the S. by Lot Nos. 5264 and 5263, Cad-422 and in the W. by Lot No. 5262, Cad 422. Beginning at a point marked “1” of the plan, being N. 84-20’W., 4,278.20 meters, thence:

N. 08-27′ W., 93.09 m. to point 2;

S. 83-41′ E., 114.94 m. to point 3;

S. 75-48′ E., 19.33 m. to point 4;

S. 08-52′ W., 36.88 m. to point 5;

S. 00-36′ W., 34.00 m. to point 6;

N. 84-57′ W., 6.01 m. to point 7;

S. 87-27′ W., 107.40 m. to point of

Beginning, containing an area of TEN THOUSAND (10,000) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All corners not otherwise described are old points. All corners marked “P.S.” are cyl. conc. Mons. 15 x 40 cm. Date of survey July 09, 2005 by Geodetic Engineer Cruz M. Abarca.

The tract or tracts of land herein reserved shall be non-alienable until again declared alienable through Proclamation by the President.

The area covered by this proclamation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision, and control of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
