Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of July, two thousand nine.

[REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9796]

AN ACT CONVERTING A PORTION OF THE KAWIT-NOVELETA DIVERSION ROAD, PROVINCE OF CAVITE INTO A NATIONAL ROAD

Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. A portion of the Kawit-Noveleta Diversion Road servicing the Cavite Economic Zone from kilometer 23+400 to kilometer 27+225 with a total length of 3.825 kilometers in the Province of Cavite is hereby converted into a national road.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provision of this Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
