PROCLAMATION NO. 1973

DECLARING SATURDAY, JANUARY 16, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF NAVOTAS

WHEREAS, Saturday, January 16, 2010, marks the 104th Foundation Day anniversary of the City of Navotas;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of Navotas the opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare January 16, 2010 as a non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, January 16, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Navotas.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 12th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Ten.
