PROCLAMATION NO. 2072

DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 12, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SILAY, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, Saturday, June 12, 2010, the City of Silay marks the celebration of its 53rd Charter Day anniversary;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Silay be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LEANDRO R. MENDOZA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, June 12, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Silay, Province of Negros Occidental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 9th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Ten.
