PROCLAMATION NO. 1

DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 8, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY OF ISABELA, PROVINCE OF BASILAN

WHEREAS, Thursday, July 8, 2010, marks the town fiesta of the City of Isabela, Basilan, in honor of its patron saint, Nuestra Sra. De Sta. Isabel;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Isabela, Basilan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Thursday, July 8, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Isabela, Province of Basilan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 7th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Ten.
