PROCLAMATION NO. 30

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Masbate was declared as a component city of  the Province of Masbate by virtuew of R.A. 8807 dated September 30, 2000;

WHEREAS, Thursday, September 30, 2010, marks the 10th Cityhood Anniversary of the City of Masbate;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of Masbate, the opportunity to celebrate the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare September 30, 2010 as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO II, do hereby declare Thursday, September 30, 2010, as special (non-working) day in Masbate City

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 6th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Ten.
