PROCLAMATION NO. 44

DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the Province of Negros Oriental will be celebrating the Buglasan Festival on October 15-24, 2010;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the province of Negros Oriantal the opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan requested that October 22, 2010 be declared as special non-working day in the Province of Negros Oriental.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Friday, October 22, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Negros Oriental.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
