PROCLAMATION NO. 231

DECLARING MONDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER 2011. AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TACURONG

WHEREAS, the City of Tacurong marks its 11thCityhood Anniversary on 18 September 2011, dubbed as “Talakudong Festival 2011”;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of Tacurong the opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, 19 September 2011 instead of 18 September 2011 which falls on a Sunday, as a special non-working day;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tacurong be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday, 19 September 2011, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Tacurong.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
