PROCLAMATION NO. 259

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING WHICH STANDS ON THREE PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED AT EDSA CORNER CORREGIDOR STREET, QUEZON CITY AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT (RA) 7916. AS AMENDED BY RA 8743

Pursuant to the powers nested in me under RA 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by RA 8748 and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as an IT Center, subject to the provisions of RA 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 (s. 2000) and Resolution No. 10-544 (s. 2010) of the PEZA Board of Directors, the EDSA Grand Residences which stands on three parcels of land of the private domain located at EDSA corner Corregidor Street, Quezon City, containing an area of One Thousand Five Hundred Nineteen and 50/100 (1,519.50) square meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

A parcel of land (Lot 1-A of the subdivision plan (LRA) Psd-393420, approved as a non subdivision project, being a portion of Lot 1, Block 8-9; Bsd-20171, LRC Rec. No.7681), situated in the Barrio of Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Island of Luzon.

Bounded on the NE., points 5-1 by Lot 8, Block 9; points 1-2 by Lot 9, Block 9; on the SE., points 2-3 by Lot 2, Block B-9, all of Bsd-20171; on the SW., points 3-4 by Lot 1-B of the subdivision plan; on the NW., points 4-5 by Road Lot 8. Bsd-20171 (now) Corregidor Street.
