PROCLAMATION NO. 690

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 406 (S. 2003), WHICH RESERVED CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND SITUATED IN LIWASANG BONIFACIO, DISTRICT OF ERMITA, CITY OF MANILA, ISLAND OF LUZON FOR BUILDING SITE PURPOSES OF THE PHILIPPINE POSTAL CORPORATION BY SEGREGATING A PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN, RESERVING THE SAME AS SITE OF THE HEAD OFFICE OF THE PHILIPPINE POSTAL SAVINGS BANK, INC. AND GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES-PHILIPPINE POSTAL SAVINGS BANK, INC.

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 406 (s. 2003) which reserved certain parcels of land located in Liwasang Bonifacio, District of Ermita, City of Manila, Island of Luzon for building site purposes of the Philippine Postal Corporation, by segregating a portion of the land embraced therein and reserving the same as site of the head office of the Philippine Postal Savings Bank, Inc. and granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines-Philippine Postal Savings Bank, Inc., which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 3, Sgs-00-000015) situated in Liwasang Bonifacio, District of Ermita, City of Manila, Island of Luzon. Bounded on the NW., & NE., along lines 1-2-3-4-5 by Road; on the NE., along lines 5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13 by (portion) Lot 1, Block 301, Manila Cadastre; on the NE., & SE., along lines 13-14-15-16-17-18 by Road; and on the SW., along lines 18-19-20-21-22-23-1 by Jones Bridge.

Bearings True; date of survey September 25-29, October 2-6, 23, 25 & 27, 2000: as surveyed by Engr. B.C. Monponbanua and L.L. Aromin and was approved on June 8, 2001.

The DENR Secretary is hereby authorized to issue the Special Patent in the name of the Republic of the Philippines-Philippine Postal Savings Bank, Inc.
