PROCLAMATION NO. 886

DECLARING MONDAY AND FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13 AND 24, 2014, RESPECTIVELY, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS IN THE CITY OF ANGELES

WHEREAS, the City of Angeles marks the celebration of the month-long Kuliat Festival (Fiestang Kuliat) and the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan, street singing and dancing festival to commemorate the city’s resiliency and dynamism after the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991;

WHEREAS, in order for the people of the City of Angeles to celebrate and participate in the event, the City Mayor has requested that Monday and Friday, October 13 and 24, 2014, respectively, be declared as non-working days.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday and Friday, October 13 and 24, 2014, respectively, as special (non-working) days in the City of Angeles.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
