Memorandum Circular No. 78

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and in view of the inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon, enhanced by Typhoon “Falcon,” work in government offices in the National Capital Region, is hereby suspended starting 3:00 p.m. today, 09 July 2015.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/ response to disasters and calamities, and/or performance of other vital public services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

It is noted that classes in all levels, both public and private, in the National Capital Region, have already been suspended.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
