PROCLAMATION NO. 1087
DECLARING MONDAY, 24 AUGUST 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF DAVAO
WHEREAS, the City of Davao celebrates the âKadayawan” Festival every third week of August;
WHEREAS, on Monday, 24 August 2015, the City of Davao marks its “Araw ng Pasasalamat” as part of the weeklong celebration of the âKadayawanâ Festival;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Davao be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Monday, 24 August 2015, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Davao.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
