The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania,

having assessed the repressions conducted by the Belarusian authorities against the leaders of the opposition and other participants in the elections;

drawing attention to a manifest interference with equal-rights participation in the upcoming Presidential elections by the candidates opposed to the regime and to refusal to issue visas to election observers,

strictly condemns such undemocratic and uncivilized actions and

expresses solidarity with the people of the neighbouring Belarus, striving for freedom and European democracy.
