Law AmendING article 125 of

the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania

Article 1. Amendment of Article 125 of the Constitution

1. Paragraph 2 of Article 125 of the Constitution shall be repealed.

2. Paragraph 3 of Article 125 of the Constitution shall become Paragraph 2 and shall be amended by inserting the words ”and the legal status of the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania as well as the grounds of dismissal” after the word ”powers” and Paragraph 2 shall be worded as follows:

”The procedure for the organisation and activities of the Bank of Lithuania, its powers and the legal status the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania as well as the grounds of his dismissal shall be established by law.”

I promulgate this Law passed by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
