Article 1. Supplementing the Law with Article 2
The Law shall be supplemented with Article 2:
“Article 2. Acceptance of the Jurisdiction of the Court of Justice of the European Communities in accordance with the Arrangements Laid down in Article 35 (3)(b) of the Treaty on European Union
The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, invoking Article 35(2) of the Treaty on European Union, declares that the Republic of Lithuania accepts the jurisdiction of the Court of Justice of the European Communities under Article 35(3)(b) of the Treaty on European Union to give preliminary rulings on the validity and interpretation of framework decisions and decisions, on the interpretation of conventions established under Title VI of the Treaty on European Union and on the validity and interpretation of the measures implementing them.“
