The Baltic Assembly establishes the Аd Hoc Group on the Baltic Assembly Prizes for Literature, the Arts and Science and approves the mandate of the Ad Hoc Group.

Establishment and Mandate of the Ad Hoc Group
on the Baltic Assembly Prizes for Literature, the Arts and Science
 
 
1.         Constitution
 
The Ad Hoc Group shall be established under the auspices of the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly. The Ad Hoc Group shall provide recommendations and proposals on amendments to the Regulations on the Baltic Assembly Prizes for Literature, the Arts and Science to the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly by the beginning of June 2014.
 
 
2.         Objectives and Scope of Activity
 
The objective of the Ad Hoc Group shall be to review the concept and principles of the Baltic Assembly Prizes for Literature, the Arts and Science. The scope of activity of the Ad Hoc Group shall cover the overarching and specific goals of the Baltic Assembly Prizes, procedure and criteria for nominating and selecting works, voting procedure, composition and work of National Juries and the Joint Jury, publishing the works of prize winners, as well as other relevant issues.
 
 
3.         Composition
 
Each national delegation of the Baltic Assembly shall nominate two parliamentarians for work in the Ad Hoc Group by 12 December 2013.
 
 
4.         Mode of Work
 
The Ad Hoc Group shall be headed by the country presiding in the Baltic Assembly.
Decisions of the Ad Hoc Group shall be adopted by consensus.
