1. These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Clubs
Regulations, 1936.

2. In these Regulations unless the context otherwise requires-
"secretary" means the person holding the office of secretary of a

club or the person performing the duties of the secretary.
"tourist" means a person who is not resident in the Island and

does not intend to remain in the Island far a longer period
than six months.

3. The hours of opening and closing of members' club premises shall
be as set out in the rules of the particular club and recorded in the
register of clubs.

4. Intoxicating liquor shall not be supplied to any member of a
members' club or to his guest between the hours of 4.00 a.m. and 8.00
a.m. on week days or after 12 midnight on Sundays.

5. It shall be l'awful for the Superintendent of Police for the Parish
in which a members' club is situated on an application being made to
him in writing to grant permission to a members' club to remain open
beyond the time stated in the rules of the club and to extend the time
during which intoxicating liquor may be supplied to members and guests
of such a club; but such permission shall only apply fcn the day for
which it is granted and the proof of any such permission in any
proceedings taken for an offence against these Regulations shall be on
the defendant.

6. No person not being a tourist shall be admitted as a guest of any
club unless such person shall have been introduced into the club by
a member of the club and the name and addresses of such guest and
member shall be recorded in a book to be known as the visitor's book
at the time of such introduction.

7. It shall be the duty of the secretary of every club to provide a
visitor's book and to see that the provisions of regulation 6 are strictly
carried out.

8. Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold to a member of a proprietary
club or his guest except between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 a.m.
on week days, and except between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 12
midnight on Sundays.
