1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Divisions (Corporate Area)
Order, 2009.
2. In the parishes and constituencies specified in the first column of the
Schedule, the electoral divisions specified in the second column of the Schedule.
Schedule shall comprise the polling divisions specified in the third column of
the Schedule.
3. The boundaries of each polling division enumerated in the third
column of the Schedule shall be the boundaries specified in the official list of
electors in force from time to time prepared and published in relation to such
polling division pursuant to the Representation of the People Act and desig-
nated by a corresponding number.

THE KINGSTON AND ST. ANDREW CORPORATION (DUTIES OF OFFICERS)
REGULATIONS, 1945
(Made by the Corporation on the 9th day of October, 1944 and G.N. 309/45
approved by the Governor in Executive Council on the 12th f%d\82/57
day of April, 1945)
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Kingston and St. Andrew
Corporation (Duties of Officers) Regulations 1945.
2. The Town Clerk, in addition to the duties specifically mentioned
in any enactment, shall, subject to such general or special directions
as may from time to time be given by the Council-
(a) be the chief executive officer of the Corporation;
(b) have the charge and custody of and be responsible for the
deeds, records and documents of the Corporation;
(c) attend all meetings of the Council and draw up the minutes
of such meetings and shall cause the same to be printed
and bound in volumes;
(6) give to all or any of the officers of the Corporation such
instructions or directions as may appear to him necessary
for the purpose of carrying out the policies and directions
of the Council and all such instructions and directions shall,
unless and until otherwise determined by the Council, have
the same force and effect as if the same had been given by
the Council;
(e) be the medium of correspondence between the Corporation,
the Central Government and the officers thereof and between
the Corporation and the officers of the Corporation and the
public.
3. The City Treasurer, in addition to any duties specifically mentioned
in any enactment, shall, subject to such general or special directions
as may from time to time be given by the Council-
(a) collect, receive and bank the moneys payable to the Corpora-
tion;

(b) enter in books to be kept by him for that purpose true
accounts of all moneys received by him and paid on behalf
of the Corporation and of the several matters for which such
moneys shall have been received and paid, which books shall
at all times be open to inspection by the members of the
Council and the Town Clerk;
(c) exercise superintendence over, control and check the persons
appointed to assist in the collection and receipt of moneys
of the Corporation and of the keeping of the books afore-
said;
(d) sign and issue cheques on the bank account of the Corpora-
tion and be responsible for payments being made out of
the proper vote or fund and for seeing that funds are avail-
able in such fund or vote before signing or issuing a cheque;
(e ) inform the Council, its Finance Committee, or the executive
officers of the Council of the position of the votes or funds
with which it is proposed to deal, and advise generally on
the finances of the Corporation;
