THE FOREIGN RECRUITING ACT

1. This Act may be cited as the Foreign Recruiting shorttiue.

2. In this Act “foreign state” includes any person or “Foreign

2 FOREIGN RECRUITING

(6) knowingIy aids in the engagement of any person
so induced, by forwarding or conveying him or by
advancing money or in any other way whatever,

shall be guilty of a misdemeanour and shall on conviction
thereof be liable to imprisonment with or without hard
labour for any term not exceeding seven years, or to a fine
to such amount as the Court thinks fit, or to both fine
and imprisonment.

7. Any offence against this Act shall be triabIe in the
Circuit Court for any parish of this Island in which the
person accused may be found, or in which such offence may
have been committed.
