The Minister for Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 73 of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1893, as adapted by section 2 of the Registry of Friendly Societies Act, 1936 (No. 51 of 1936), section 13 of the Trade Union Act, 1975 (No. 4 of 1975), and the Industry and Commerce (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 19 of 1993 ), hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Industrial and Provident Societies (Fees) Regulations, 1995.
2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of February, 1995.
3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.
4. (1) The fees to be paid for matters to be transacted or for the inspection of documents under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1978, shall be the fees that are specified in Part 1 of the Schedule to these Regulations.
(2) No fee shall be payable for the services specified in Part II of the Schedule to these Regulations.
5. The Industrial and Provident Societies (Fees) Regulations, 1983 ( S.I. No. 291 of 1983 ), are hereby revoked.

PART II
Services for which no fee is payable
1. Cancellation or suspension of the registration of a Society.
2. Any document or copy document supplied to a public department.
3. The provision of any document in respect of which a fee is chargeable under any other Act or under any other provision of the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1978.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
The purpose of these Regulations is to increase the fees to be paid for matters to be transacted or for the inspection of documents under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1978.
