AGRICULTURAL, FOOD AND FORESTRY (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1997.
The Government, on the request of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry, and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby orders as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Agriculture, Food and Forestry (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1997.
2. All the powers and duties of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry conferred on the Minister by or under the Control of Horses Act, 1996 (No. 37 of 1996), are hereby delegated to Jimmy Deenihan, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
