S.I. No. 45/2000 - Marine and Natural Resources (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 2000.
The Government, on the request of the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources and in the exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Marine and Natural Resources (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 2000.
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources conferred on him by or under the Acts specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby delegated to Hugh Byrne, Minister of State at the Department of Marine and Natural Resources.

Forestry Act, 1946 (No. 13 of 1946), as amended by the Forestry Act, 1956 (No. 6 of 1956). Forestry Act, 1988 (No. 26 of 1988).
Fisheries Acts, 1959 to 1998, in so far as they relate to aquaculture.
Foreshore Acts, 1933 to 1998, in so far as they relate to aquaculture.
