S.I. No. 163/2002 - Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order, 2002
The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 (3) of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 (No. 9 of 2002), hereby orders as follows:—

1.         This Order may be cited as the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order, 2002.

2.          Section 17 (c) of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 shall come into operation on the date of the making of this Order.

This Order brings into operation section 17 (c) of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 (No. 9 of 2002) which provides for an increase in the borrowing limit of the Housing Finance Agency Ltd. from £1.5 billion to €6 billion.
