ELECTORAL (AMENDMENT) ACT 2004 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2004
The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Electoral (Amendment) Act 2004 (No. 15 of 2004) hereby orders as follows:—

1.  This Order may be cited as the Electoral (Amendment) Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2004.

2.  On the 19th day of May 2004, Parts 1 and 3, sections 33, 34 and 35 of Part 4 and Schedule 5 of the Electoral (Amendment) Act 2004 shall come into operation.

This Order brings into operation on the 19th day of May 2004 Parts 1 and 3 and certain sections of Part 4 and Schedule 5 of the Electoral (Amendment) Act 2004 . Part 3 and Schedule 5 establishes the Commission on Electronic Voting on a statutory basis.
