EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (MARKETING OF COMPOUND FEEDINGSTUFFS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2007
Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 14th September, 2007.
I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purposes of giving effect to Directive 2002/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 1 and Decision 623/2007/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 May 2007 2 , hereby make the following Regulations:
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Compound Feedingstuffs) (Amendment) Regulations 2007.
2. The European Communities (Marketing of Compound Feedingstuffs) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 237 of 2003 ) are amended by—
(a) the deletion of Regulation 2(b)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations give effect to the provisions of Decision No. 623/2007/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 May 2007 which amends the labelling requirements applicable to compound animal feedingstuffs.
