HEALTH INSURANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT 2001 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2009
Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 9th June, 2009.
I, MARY HARNEY, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15(3) of the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 17 of 2001), hereby order as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2009.
2. The 9th day of June 2009 is appointed as the day on which—
(a) sections 5 and 13 (in so far as they are not already in operation),
and
(b) sections 6 and 7,
of the Health Insurance (Amendment) Act 2001 (No. 17 of 2001) shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
