Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 12th June, 2015.
The Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on the said Society by section 11 of the Pharmacy Act 2007 (No. 20 of 2007) (as adapted by the Health and Children (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 219 of 2011 )) and the Health (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2014 ( S.I. No. 532 of 2014 ), with the consent of the Minister of State at the Department of Health, hereby makes the following rules:
1. (1) These Rules may be cited as the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2015.
(2) These Rules shall be construed as one with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) Rules 2014 ( S.I. No. 378 of 2014 ) and may be cited together with those Rules as the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) Rules 2014 and 2015.
2. These Rules shall come into operation on 24 June 2015.
3. The Schedule to the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) Rules 2014 is amended by inserting after paragraph 41 the following paragraphs:
“42. Fee payable under Regulation 19A(5)(d) (as inserted by Regulation 8 of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 ( S.I. No. 87 of 2015 )) of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 540 of 2003 ), being the fee payable in respect of an application for entry in the ISS supply list established and maintained by the Society pursuant to Regulation 19A(3) of those Regulations.

43. Fee payable under Regulation 19A(10) (as inserted by Regulation 8 of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2015) of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) Regulations 2003, being the fee payable in respect of the notification to the Society of any changes to the information submitted pursuant to Regulation 19A(5) of the said Regulations for entry in the ISS supply list established and maintained by the Society pursuant to Regulation 19A(3) of those Regulations.”

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Rules amend the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) Rules 2014 ( S.I. No. 378 of 2014 ) to provide for fees payable to the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland in respect of the ISS supply list.
The ISS supply list was established, and is maintained, by the Society pursuant to Regulation 19A (as inserted by Regulation 8 of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 ( S.I. No. 87 of 2015 )) of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 540 of 2003 ) and section 7(1)(f) (as inserted by the European Union (Amendment of the Pharmacy Act 2007 ) Regulations 2015 ( S.I. No. 86 of 2015 )) of the Pharmacy Act 2007 (No. 20 of 2007).
These Rules may be cited as the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2015.
