(APPRAISEMENT)

ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS
SECTION
1. Short title.
2. Order to enable the making of appraisements of properties in
New Amsterdam deemed to have been made.

37 of 1974 An Act to provide for the making of appraisements in the
Town of New Amsterdam pursuant to the continuance
in operation of certain provisions of the New
Amsterdam Town Council Ordinance.

Short title.
Order to
enable the
making of
appraisements
of properties in
New
Amsterdam
deemed to
have been
made.
1. This Act may be cited as the New Amsterdam
Town Council (Appraisement) Act.
2. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, an order
under section 136 of the New Amsterdam Town Council
Ordinance continued in force by section 44 of the Valuation
for Rating Purposes Act) for the purpose of extending to the
31st December, 1975 the period within which the New
Amsterdam Town Council shall order and direct the general
appraisement of all properties in the Town of New
Amsterdam shall for all purposes be deemed to have been

duly made and to have come into operation on 1st January,
