AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A PARK TO BE KNOWN AS

COMMONWEALTH PARK AND FOR CONNECTED PURPOSES.

Short title and commencement.

1. This Act may be cited as the Commonwealth Park Act 2014 and comes

into operation on the day of publication.

Establishment of Commonwealth Park.

2. There is hereby established a park to be known as Commonwealth Park.

Uses.

3. Commonwealth Park shall be perpetually set apart for the health,

recreation and enjoyment of all persons.

Boundary.

4. Commonwealth Park comprises the area delimited in red in the Schedule

to this Act.

Power to make rules and other subsidiary legislation.

5. The Minister with responsibility for the environment may make such

rules, orders or other subsidiary legislation as may be useful or necessary

for carrying the purposes of this Act into effect.
