Notice concerning the entry into force of the Protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement establishing a partnership between the European Communities and their Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Azerbaijan, of the other part, to take account of the accession of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia, and the Slovak Republic to the European Union

The Protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement with Azerbaijan, to take account of the accession of 10 new Member States to the European Union, which the Council and the Commission decided to conclude on 24 October 2005 (1), entered into force on 1 November 2005, the last notification of the completion of procedures under Article 5.2 of the Protocol being received on 24 October 2005.
