The Regulation is established under Subsection § 101 (3) clause 3 and Subsection 101 (4) of the «Aliens Act».

§ 1.  Authorities competent to approve the issue of visas

The authorities competent to approve the issue of a visa are the Security Police Board and the Police and Border Guard Board.

§ 2.  Authorities competent to organise the exchange of information relating to the uniform visa that is issued by a competent governmental authority of a member state of the Schengen Convention

The authorities competent to organise the exchange of information relating to the uniform visa that is issued by a competent governmental authority of a member state of the Schengen Convention are the Security Police Board and the Police and Border Guard Board.

§ 3.  Appointment of officials

The heads of the authorities referred to in subsections (1) and (2) shall appoint the competent officials.

§ 4.  Entry into Force of Regulation

The Regulation shall enter into force on 1 October 2010.
