35/1999 Coll. DECREE of the Czech National Bank of 29 January 1999 on the issue of commemorative silver coin to mark the 50th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Czech National Bank pursuant to § 22 letter. a) Law no. 6/1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank: § 1 (1) the 50th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are issued commemorative silver coin (hereinafter "The coin"). (2) The coin is issued in the normal version and a special version intended for collecting purposes with a polished field and a matt relief coin (hereinafter referred to as "special design"). (3) The coin in the normal and specific embodiment are punched from an alloy containing 900 parts silver and 100 parts copper. The weight of the coin is 13 g, a diameter of 31 mm and 2.40 mm strength. The edge of the coin is smooth. On the edge of the coin in everyday design is a frieze "CZECH REPUBLIC - NATO countries - 1999 -" on the edge of the coin in a particular embodiment, the frieze "CZECH NATIONAL BANK * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *". During the excavation of the coin in common and specific embodiment, the allowable deviation in diameter of 0.1 mm and thickness of 0.15 mm. The weight tolerance of up 0.26 g and silver content of 1% deviation upwards. § 2 (1) The obverse of the coin features a stylized large national emblem of the Czech Republic without a shield, and underneath the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC". The denomination and abbreviated monetary unit "CZK 200" is arranged in 2 rows under the name of the state. Mintmark, which minted the coin, the lower right side with stylized national emblem. (2) On the reverse of the coin shows a representation sculpture standing in front of NATO in Brussels with embedded dates "1949" and "1999". At the edges of the coin is enclosed copy "NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION". The coin was designed by sculptor George Harcuba.
