N.S. Reg. 34/81 (O.I.C. 81-379)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated the 13th day of March, 1981, A.D., and pursuant to clause (a) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, A.D., the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

                (a)    approve and authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in respect of the tariff of fees for insured medical services attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, and marked Schedule “A”, effective for a period of one year, commencing on the 1st day of April, 1980, A.D., at a rate of 85% of the fee so calculated; and

 

                (b)    order that the publication of this regulation be dispensed with due to the length of the Schedule attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation.

N.S. Reg. 41A/81 (O.I.C. 81-416)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated the 26th day of March, A.D., 1981, pursuant to clause (a) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

                (a)    order that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan for the period April 1, 1980 to March 31, 1981, inclusive, be continued in effect for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1981, subject to

 

                         (i)     an increase of 10% from $1.40 to $1.54 in the master unit value specified therein, and

 

                         (ii)    a further increase in an amount equal to 2% of the total amount of payments made by the Commission in respect thereof for the 1980-81 fiscal year with the 2% increase to be allocated amongst the various items comprising the said tariff of fees in such manner as may be determined by the Health Services and Insurance Commission;

 

                (b)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in respect of the said tariff of fees and increases in respect thereof, effective for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1981; and

 

                (c)    order that the publication of this regulation be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 81-416.]



N.S. Reg. 129/82 (O.I.C. 82-679)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated the 17th day of May, A.D., 1982, and pursuant to clause (a) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

                (a)    order that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan approved by Order in Council 81-416 dated the 31st day of March, A.D., 1981, be continued in effect for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1982, subject to

 

                         (i)     an increase of 12% to be effective April 1, 1982,

 

                         (ii)    an increase of 1½% to be effective August 1, 1982,

 

                         (iii)   an increase of 1½% to be effective December 1, 1982,

 

                         (vi)   the increases to be allocated amongst the various items comprising the said tariff of fees in such manner as may be approved by the Commission;

 

                (b)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in respect of the said tariff of fees and increases in respect thereof, effective for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1982; and

 

                (c)    order that the publication of this regulation be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 82-679.]



N.S. Reg. 4/83 (O.I.C. 83-53)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Acting Minister of Health dated the 31st day of December, A.D., 1983, pursuant to clause (a) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

                (a)    order that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan approved by Order in Council 82-679 dated the 1st of June, A.D., 1982, be continued in effect for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, 1983, subject to

 

                         (i)     an increase of 6% to be effective on April 1, 1983,

 

                         (ii)    the increase to be allocated amongst the various items comprising the said tariff of fees in such manner as may be approved by the Commission;

 

                (b)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in respect of the said tariff of fees and increases in respect thereof, effective for a period of one year, commencing on the 1st day of April, 1983; and

 

                (c)    order that the publication of this regulation be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 83-53.]


N.S. Reg. 230/83 (O.I.C. 83-1240)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated the 18th day of October, A.D., 1983, and pursuant to clause (a) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

                (a)    order that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan approved by Order in Council 83-53 dated the 18th of January, A.D., 1983, be continued in effect for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1984, subject to

 

                         (i)     an increase of 5% to be effective on April 1, 1984,

 

                         (ii)    the increases to be allocated amongst the various items comprising the said tariff of fees in such manner as may be determined by the Commission;

 

                (b)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in respect of the said tariff of fees and the increases in respect thereof, effective for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1984; and

 

                (c)    order that the publication of this regulation be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 83-1240.]



N.S. Reg. 242/84 (O.I.C. 84-1083)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated the 13th day of September, A.D., 1984, and pursuant to clause (a) and (ba) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, as amended, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to order

 

                (a)    that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan approved by Order in Council 83-1240 dated the 1st day of November, A.D., 1983, will continue in effect for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1984, subject to

 

                         (i)     an increase of 3.53% to be effective on the 1st day of July, A.D., 1984,

 

                         (ii)    the increase to be allocated across the board;

 

                (b)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in accordance with paragraph (a) of this Order;

 

                (c)    authorize the Health Services and Insurance Commission to offer a similar 3.53% increase to the Nova Scotia Dental Association and Optometrical Association and, upon acceptance by the said Associations, authorize the Commission to make payments in accordance with the said offer;

 

                (d)    order that the publication of this Order be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved; and [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 84-1083.]

 

                (e)    revoke Order in Council 84-984 dated the 14th day of August, A.D., 1984.



N.S. Reg. 267/84 (O.I.C. 84-1287)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health, dated the 19th day of September, A.D., 1984, and pursuant to clause (a) and (ba) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

                (a)    order that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan approved by Order in Council 84-1083 made the 18th day of September, A.D., 1984, will continue in effect for a period of one year commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1985, subject to an increase of 4.273% to be effective on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1985;

 

                (b)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in accordance with paragraph (a) of Order;

 

                (c)    order that the publication of this Order be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 84-1287.]



N.S. Reg. 102/86 (O.I.C. 86-488)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated the 29th day of April, A.D., 1986, pursuant to clauses (a) and (ba) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

       (1)    order that the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services under the Medical Services Insurance Plan approved by Order in Council 84-1287 dated the 13th day of November, A.D., 1984, will continue in effect for a period of three years commencing on the 1st day of April, 1986, subject to

 

                (a)    effective April 1, 1986, an increase of 2% in the tariff,

 

                (b)    effective April 1, 1987, an increase of 3% in the tariff,

 

                (c)    effective April 1, 1988, an increase in the tariff equal to the increase in the C.P.I. for Canada (all items, not seasonally adjusted) for the previous year. The increase for the previous year means the percentage increase in the average C.P.I. for calendar year 1987 over the corresponding C.P.I. for the calendar year 1986;

 

       (2)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in accordance with paragraph (1) of this Order;

 

       (3)    order that the publication of this order be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 86-488.]



N.S. Reg. 172/89 (O.I.C. 89-982)

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Fitness dated the 15th day of August, A.D., 1989, and pursuant to clauses (a) and (ba) of subsection (1) of Section 11 of Chapter 8 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and subsection (3) of Section 4 of Chapter 15 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1973, the Regulations Act, is pleased to

 

       (1)    approve the tariff of fees which has been agreed to by the Health Services and Insurance Commission and the Medical Society of Nova Scotia which is based upon the tariff of fees applicable to insured medical services approved by Order in Council 86-488 dated the 5th day of May, A.D., 1986, continuing in effect for a further period of three years commencing on the 1st day of April, A.D., 1989, subject to the increases set out in the agreement which is attached as Appendix “A” to this report and recommendation;

 

       (2)    authorize payments by the Health Services and Insurance Commission in accordance with the agreement between the Health Services and Insurance Commission and the Medical Society of Nova Scotia;

 

       (3)    order that the publication of this order be dispensed with due to the length of the tariff of fees hereby approved. [No tariff of fees attached to O.I.C. 89-982.]
