Council on Mi'kmaq Education Remuneration and Expenses Regulations

made under Section 146 of the
Education Act

Citation

1 These regulations may be cited as the Council on Mi'kmaq Education Remuneration and Expenses Regulations.

Remuneration

2 (1) The remuneration to be paid to the members of the Council on Mi'kmaq Education, except for those members who are civil servants, for performing their duties associated with the Council, shall be $600.00 per year.

(2) The remuneration to be paid to the Chair of the Council, if the Chair is not a civil servant, for performing the duties associated with the chair, shall be $800.00 per year.

Expenses

3 Reasonable travelling and living expenses that are necessarily incurred by the members of Council in carrying out their duties on the Council shall be paid to the members in accordance with the established guidelines approved for civil servants.
