Labour Relations Board Orders Regulations
made under Sections 5 and 6 of the
Court and Administrative Reform Act

1 These regulations may be cited as the Labour Relations Board Orders Regulations.
2 In these regulations,
(a) “Board” means the Labour Relations Board (Nova Scotia) established underthe authority of the Trade Union Act;
(b) “Supreme Court” means the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.
Filing and enforcement of orders in the Supreme Court
3 (1) An order of the Board, whether made before or after the coming into force ofSection 5 of the Court and Administrative Reform Act may, for the purpose ofenforcement, be filed with the Supreme Court and shall be enforced in the samemanner as a judgment of that Court.
(2) To file an order referred to in subsection (1) with the Supreme Court, the Chair ofthe Board shall make a certified copy of the order, with the following endorsement,signed by the Chair:
File the enclosed order with the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.

and forward the copy to a prothonotary of the Supreme Court who shall enter it as arecord.
(3) Any subsequent order of the Board rescinding or varying an order of the Boardalready filed with the Supreme Court may be filed in the same manner set out insubsection (2).
