Veterinary Profession Act
EXEMPTION REGULATION 1   A corporation engaged in embryo collection that is not eligible for registration as a permit holder under the Veterinary Profession Act is exempt from the application of section 2(1) of the Veterinary Profession Act when it engages in embryo collection if the embryo collection is carried out by or under the supervision of a registered veterinarian.

2   A person who engages in
                               (a)    semen collection from turkeys or horses, or
                              (b)    the artificially insemination of turkeys or horses,
                               (c)    the removal of velvet antler in accordance with the Domestic Cervid Industry Regulation from a domestic cervid within the meaning of that Regulation
is exempt from the application of section 2(1) of the Veterinary Profession Act when it engages in those activities.
