Health Information Act
DESIGNATION REGULATION Definition
1   In this Regulation, “Act” means the Health Information Act.
Research ethics boards
2   The following committees and boards are designated as research ethics boards for the purposes of Part 5, Division 3 of the Act:
                    (a) to (c)    repealed AR 219/2013 s2;
                           (c.1)    Health Research Ethics Board of Alberta;
                              (d)    University of Alberta - Health Research Ethics Board;
                               (e)    University of Calgary - Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board;
                               (f)    repealed AR 219/2013 s2.

Expiry
3   For the purpose of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that it may be repassed in its present or an amended form following a review, this Regulation expires on November 30, 2016.

Coming into force
4   This Regulation comes into force on the coming into force of the Health Information Act.
