CONSUMER TRANSACTION CANCELLATION AND RECOVERY NOTICE REGULATION Notice
1(1)  A consumer seeking a remedy under section 7 of the Act with respect to an unfair practice engaged in by a supplier related to a consumer transaction must, in giving notice under section 7.1 of the Act, also indicate
                                 (a)    the date and place of the consumer transaction, and
                                 (b)    the remedy sought.
(2)  Where the remedy sought is the recovery of money under section 7(3) of the Act, the notice must indicate the amount sought.
Supplier response
2   For the purpose of section 7.1(5) of the Act, a supplier has 15 days to provide a satisfactory response to a notice.
Expiry
3   For the purpose of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for ongoing relevancy and necessity, with the option that it may be repassed in its present or an amended form following a review, this Regulation expires on August 31, 2016.
