MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN: Preamble
WHEREAS it appears by Messages from Her Honour Lois E. Hole, Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Alberta, and the Estimates accompanying the Messages, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain charges and expenses of the Legislative Assembly and the Public Service of Alberta not otherwise provided for during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005 and for other purposes relating thereto:
MAY IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY that it be enacted and be it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, as follows:
Operating expense and equipment/inventory purchases
1(1) From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $76 694 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Legislative Assembly classed as operating expense or operating expense and equipment/inventory purchases for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005, as shown in the Schedule, including the amount of $19 200 000 voted by section 1(1) of the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 2004.
(2) From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $19 786 012 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as operating expense or operating expense and equipment/inventory purchases for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005, as shown in the Schedule, including the amount of $5 029 200 000 voted by section 1(2) of the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 2004.
Capital investment
2 From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $591 146 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as capital investment for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005, as shown in the Schedule, including the amount of $133 500 000 voted by section 2 of the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 2004.
Non-budgetary disbursements
3 From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $217 559 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as non‑budgetary disbursements for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005, as shown in the Schedule, including the amount of $66 400 000 voted by section 3 of the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 2004.
Lottery Fund payments
4 From the Lottery Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $1 167 831 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as Lottery Fund payments for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005, as shown in the Schedule, including the amount of $313 600 000 voted by section 4 of the Appropriation (Interim Supply) Act, 2004.
