Preamble
WHEREAS it appears by Messages from Her Honour Lois E. Hole, Lieutenant Governor of the Province of Alberta, and the Estimates accompanying the Messages, that the sums hereinafter mentioned are required to defray certain charges and expenses of the Offices of the Legislative Assembly and the Public Service of Alberta not otherwise provided for during the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003 and for other purposes relating thereto: MAY IT THEREFORE PLEASE YOUR MAJESTY that it be enacted and be it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, as follows:
Operating expense and capital investment
1(1) From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $13 235 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Offices of the Legislative Assembly classed as operating expense or operating expense and capital investment for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, as shown in the attached Schedule.
(2) From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $3 799 585 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as operating expense or operating expense and capital investment for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, as shown in the attached Schedule.
Non-budgetary disbursements
2 From the General Revenue Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $42 385 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as non‑budgetary disbursements for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, as shown in the attached Schedule.
Lottery Fund payments
3 From the Lottery Fund, there may be paid and applied a sum of $234 685 000 towards defraying the several charges and expenses of the Public Service classed as Lottery Fund payments for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, as shown in the attached Schedule.
Accountability
4 The due application of all money expended under this Act shall be accounted for. Schedule
