1 In these Regulations, Nova Scotia laws means the Summary Proceedings Act (R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 450) and its regulations, as amended from time to time and, for greater certainty, includes regulations made under that Act after the coming into force of these Regulations, unless otherwise provided.

2 The Nova Scotia Interpretation Act (R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 235), as amended from time to time, applies to the interpretation of the Nova Scotia laws.

3 The Nova Scotia laws are incorporated by reference and apply to prosecutions of offences under the Donkin Coal Block Development Opportunity Act.

4 These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
