Amending O. Reg. 316/07

(Designation and Classification of Provincial Parks)

1. Section 2 of Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

Land set aside

2. A provincial park consists of the land delimited or set aside for it, as set out in the description in Column 2 of Table 1 opposite the name of the park in Column 1 or as described in the Schedule or the section referred to in that part of Column 2.

2. (1) Table 1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out the items for Bell Bay Provincial Park, Bronte Creek Provincial Park (Recreation Class), Finlayson Point Provincial Park (Recreation Class), Mashkinonje Provincial Park Addition (Recreation Class), Pancake Bay Provincial Park (Recreation Class), Peter’s Woods Provincial Nature Reserve, Port Bruce Provincial Park, Quetico Provincial Park, Sharbot Lake Provincial Park (Recreation Class), Sioux Narrows Provincial Camp and Picnic Grounds, Six Mile Lake Provincial Park (Recreation Class), Springwater Provincial Park (Recreation Class), Spruce Islands Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) and West English River Provincial Park (Waterway Class).

(2) Table 1 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following items:

In unsurveyed territory, in the Territorial District of Kenora, Patricia Portion, containing 99,576 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 7, both inclusive, on a plan known as Beekahncheekahmeeng Deebahncheekayweehn Eenahohnahnuhn, filed on September 23, 2010, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.




Bell Bay Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)


In the geographic Township of Jones, now in the Municipal Township of Madawaska Valley, in the County of Renfrew, containing 558 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Bell Bay Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on February 2, 2011, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
