Amending Reg. 628 of R.R.O. 1990

(Vehicle Permits)

1. Section 18 of Regulation 628 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(6.1) Despite subsections (5) and (6), a person is not eligible for a refund of fees under those subsections if,

(a) the person has received compensation under section 17.2 of the Ministry of Government Services Act;

(b) the compensation is in respect of a service standard not having been met in connection with the issuance of evidence of validation for a permit to the person in respect of a validation period; and

(c) the fees that would otherwise be refunded are all or part of the fees the person paid for the validation period in respect of which the compensation was received.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of August 1, 2011 and the day it is filed.
