Amending O. Reg. 224/10

(FULL DAY JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN)

1. (1) Subsection 3 (1) of Ontario Regulation 224/10 is amended by striking out “on the second Friday after Labour Day” at the end and substituting “on a date selected by the board for each school year that is not earlier than September 1 and not later than September 30”.

(2) Section 3 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(1.1) The date selected by the board for the purposes of subsection (1) must be the same date that is selected for the purposes of section 3 of Ontario Regulation 132/12 (Class Size) in relation to determining class sizes in elementary schools.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of September 1, 2012 and the day it is filed.
