Marginal note:Equity

1 For the purposes of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act, the equity of an association is the sum of the aggregate book value of the shares of the association and the aggregate book value of the membership shares of the association, as they appear in the consolidated financial statements of the association.

*2 These Regulations come into force on the day on which paragraph 463(i.1) of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act, as enacted by section 339 of the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada Act, chapter 9 of the Statutes of Canada, 2001, comes into force.
