Regulations Respecting the Stabilization of the Price Of Cheese Marketed During the Period Commencing on August 1, 1981 and Ending on July 31, 1982
P.C. 1981-2582 1981-09-24His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture, pursuant to subsection 2(1)Footnote * and section 8.2Footnote ** and 11Footnote *** of the Agricultural Stabilization Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Regulations respecting the stabilization of the price of cheese marketed during the period commencing on August 1, 1981 and ending on July 31, 1982.

1 These Regulations may be cited as the Cheese Stabilization Regulations, 1981-82.
2 In these Regulations,
Act means the Agricultural Stabilization Act; (Loi)
cheese means cheese of all types except imitation cheese. (fromage)
3 Cheese is hereby designated as an agricultural commodity for the purposes of the Act.
4 The prescribed price of cheese for the period commencing on August 1, 1981 and ending on July 31, 1982 shall be the aggregate of
(a) 50 per cent of the base price thereof; and
(b) the index applicable thereto calculated in the manner set out in the Production Cost Index Regulations.
