Amending Reg. 552 of R.R.O. 1990

(General)

1. The definition of “schedule of benefits” in subsection 1 (1) of Regulation 552 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

  4.1. Amendments dated December 1, 2006.

2. Section 37.1 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:

(2.8) Despite subsection (2), the amount payable for a service rendered to an insured person by a physician and described by fee code H055, H065, H105, H112, H113, H121, H122, H123, H124, H131, H132, H133, H134, H151, H152, H153 or H154 of the schedule of benefits is increased by 5 per cent if the service was rendered on or after September 1, 2006 and before December 1, 2006.

3. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation shall be deemed to have come into force on December 1, 2006.

(2) Section 2 shall be deemed to have come into force on September 1, 2006.
